Microsoft announces its cheaper Surface Go tablet
Microsoft announces its cheaper Surface Go tablet coming August
Few hours after Microsoft hinted its upcoming Surface device on Twitter.
The big company has made known its newest and cheapest entry in the range (the Surface Go).
with a thickness of just about 8.3mm and weighing around 1.15 pounds, that’s about 520g,
the new 10-inch Surface Go is great at its portability and could stand a high chance in comparison
with Apple’s own cheaper iPads, and with Microsoft as well targeting
the same student demographic that Apple’s been chasing just of recent.
This new Surface Go device is powered by an Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y processor with
it’s RAM ranging from 4GB, 8GB or 64GB RAM storage configuration.
its 256GB storage is about $399 (AU$599 / £TBA) and
$549 (£TBA / AU$TBA) respectively.
The Surface Go’s display can as well support its Microsoft’s already existing
Surface Pen stylus which is priced at $99 in addition with its 4,096 levels of
pressure sensitivity, and like other Surface devices uses a 3:2
aspect ratio, but here with a resolution of 1,800 x 1,200 pixels.
